History
Northwest Territories
The flag of the Northwest Territories, adopted in 1969, reflects the land’s rugged geography and its balance between wilderness and community. It features a white central panel flanked by blue bars—blue for the countless lakes and rivers that define the territory, and white for the snow and ice that cover it much of the year. At the center lies the territorial shield: its upper half divided by a wavy white line symbolizing the Arctic Circle, separating the green forests of the south from the red tundra of the north. A white fox stands atop the shield, representing the fur trade that once sustained the region’s economy, while the diagonal line of blue and white below signifies the division between land and water. The design’s clean geometry and strong symbolism convey endurance, adaptability, and respect for the northern land that shapes life there.

Features
Hi Vis Reflective
Our prismatic reflective materials meet stringent standards required by both land and marine transportation industries. With very minimal light, colours appear clearly, and vibrantly at long distances, much like the reflectors on emergency vehicles, and road signs. This material will also reflect infrared light spectrums, commonly used in aerial imaging systems. This is the best choice to keep you safe where visibility is of the upmost importance.
