The flag of British Columbia is a striking composition that merges imperial heritage with Pacific identity. Adopted in 1960, it features a stylized version of the provincial coat of arms stretched across a white and blue background. The upper portion shows the Union Jack, acknowledging Britain’s historical influence, topped by a golden crown symbolizing loyalty to the monarchy.
