Our IR flags are precision-built in-house at PatchPanel, using SOLAS-compliant reflective materials and proprietary coatings that reflect only infrared light. That means they stay visually subdued under normal light while shining bright through night-vision and thermal optics — exactly what you want when signature management matters.
Every flag is cut, printed, and sealed on our own equipment to guarantee unmatched quality, durability, and consistency. We control every step of production — from calibration to coating — so every patch meets the same military-grade standard trusted by professionals worldwide.
Designed for military, law enforcement, and tactical enthusiasts, these IR flags deliver reliable performance in the harshest conditions. Whether on deployment, training, or field operations, your identification remains visible only when it should be.
History
Florida
The flag of Florida is steeped in layers of symbolism drawn from both Spanish colonial history and the American South. Adopted in its current form in 1900, it features a bold red saltire—an X-shaped cross—on a white field, with the state seal at the center. The red cross recalls the Spanish Cross of Burgundy, a nod to Florida’s early centuries under Spanish rule before becoming a U.S. territory. The state seal, framed by that cross, depicts a Seminole woman scattering flowers beside a steamboat and palm tree, under the rising sun—imagery meant to evoke Florida’s natural abundance and diverse heritage. The flag’s clean geometry and bright contrasts echo a complicated past: colonial influence, native culture, and post–Civil War reinvention all stitched into one striking design.
