Pressed leather creates a patch experience unlike any other. It's something we wish we could do a lot more often, but the reality is that it's incredibly time-consuming. Little to none of the steps can be automated, and often, steps have to be repeated over and over again to get the best results. 

What's cool, is that because of all of these steps, every single patch is completely unique. The leather is cut from a half-cow-sized hide, which means that it comes from spots all over the animal's body. Different areas will have different properties and end with different results. These variances can be things like thickness, texture, skin blemishes on the animal, and dye penetration. Adding to this, every patch is also stained by hand, with up to 5 coats of stain, then sealed with natural mink oil, adding even more depth to the individual uniqueness of each patch. 

When you purchase this patch, every single one of these patches will have slight differences. Unfortunately, we're not able to cherry-pick specific looks for anyone, as we've pre-packaged them in non-see-through packaging. 

Each patch is backed with hook material that is secured by an extremely strong adhesive.
